About Us

• Twelve Corners Daycare is licensed through New York State and we meet the standards set forth by the Department of Social Services.
• We have a 900 square foot muscle room with a padded floor, balls and climbers for indoor large motor play.
• We have a large fenced in playground divided into three areas to meet the needs of different age groups.
• Our unique classroom set-up promotes individualized care.
• There are bathrooms/changing tables in each classroom.
• Diapers and wipes are provided.
• We have a security system that helps to ensure the safety of the children.

Curriculum and Program

Our program content is planned each month by the teachers and their supervisors in line with the developmental level of each group. A small group size enables teachers to the teachers to tailor the lessons to their classroom environment and the children’s interests.

The daily routine includes:

• Fine motor activities such as coloring, puzzles, small blocks, pasting, cutting and cooking projects
• Large motor activities: play in the gym and outdoors when weather permits
• Language development through stories, books, music, conversation, dramatic play, games and group activities
• Quiet times for nap or resting
• Nutritious meals
